Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it shouldn’t be this hard to just get the program to open.

On single screen, it works perfect and convenient, the most esencial function I need are all there: 1) 3 clicks screen capture 2) adjustable capture focus 3) simple but enough modification tools On multiple screen it works only on one of the screens. And they are not updating this tool any more (last update 2012).
This application comes closed to the Windows Snipping Tool from Microsoft Windows that I have found so far. The preferences screen is a little confusing, and there are some rough edges when using it But for my main use case — copying aerbitrary part sof my screen to my clipboard — it’s wonderful. I tried to contact support to give feedback, but the feedback is lined to having a QQ Mail account, which I don’t have (and don’t want to sign up for). My feedback would have been: • Include x-axis and y-axis (perhaps an option) so that when Im selecting a rectangular area around an odd shape (e.g. a circle), I can easily tell where to place my corners by where the axes extend across the screen. • Alternatively, if there were a way (perhaps a modifier key) that after placing my original selection, I could adjust the edges before the capture is taken. That way I could slightly adjust the edges to be just how I want. • Alternatively, if there was a way to crop a snip after its been capture but before its saved (to clipboard or file), then I could just snip a larger area and them crop it down after its captured.
Developers - please make this faster. Allow me to pick a marker size and color in preferences….that way when I do a snip I can just draw a little without having to select everytime. THEN, whatever I snipped and drew should just be in clipboard without having to hit the check box! (code would be saving to clipboard every portion of a second I suppose). So then I just paste where I want. This would really stream line this commonly used app. Thanks.
To get a screen capture on Mac, press command+shift+4. this app doesnt work anyways.
Scrolling Capture hangs computer
Very easy to use program. One of the best.
What a RUBBISH. The mac has already have snap function. command+shift +3 or 4. CAN YOU STOP COPPING? MA HUA TENG!
This is what i want, just get some part of screen i want.
Easy to use, much better than Macs Grab.
Really usefull application. For free! But to be honest - since it comes from Tencent, I wonder why they are giving it for free. When you open the preferences, you will see: they want to install browser plugins to learn more about your online actions. Just another data sucking machine. Thats why it is for free.
Excellent app, but it will be better if we can choose the save as .JPG, .PNG or any image format, you should be keeping in mind for next updated. Good job !!!
内置的截图格式非主流,这个是png,很适合网络上传。咔嚓的声音颇有趣,还可以设置默认存储文件夹,很好很高效。 The inserted "Grab" by Apple only outputs TIFF pictures, but this one is png, suitable for uploading to popular domestic social networks. The voice "ka-cha" is cute, and it allows to set a default folder to store pictures, very convenient and efficient! Great app! Thanks!
I love this little app. Please add the support to share to social networks with Mountain Lions Social.framework, and you will get 5 stars!
The only thing i could say is…it is worth having. Perfectly serving the purpose.
So useful, and free!!!!
Thanks for the great program. I was in desperate need for a screen capture tool and this fit the bill perfectly. I am now able to capture a screenshot of just what I need (i.e. cropped using capture tool) and save it to my directly. Perfect. Thanks!
I like it! Very easy to use!
what is the difference?
.. when this program will open, its fabulous. Good quality of capture and great to be able to email. Only challenge and its a big one…. it wont always open, Ive deleted and reinstalled and problem still exists. Once that is fixed its a 5 star
